The President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almazbek Atambayev signed the law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On amendments to the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "About introduction in action of the Tax code of the Kyrgyz Republic". The law provides for the exemption from VAT of the import of grain (item 1001 HS) intended for processing directly by the importer. The supply of flour produced by the importer of this grain, is a supply exempted from VAT.

In accordance with the law, this tax exemption is valid until 1 September 2018. The law enters into force after 15 days from the date of its official publication. We remind you that in 2015 in the Republic produced 1.7 million tons of grain (in weight after processing) which is 1.3 times more than in the previous year.

The growth resulted from higher yields - in wheat it increased by 6.8 per CWT and were $ 23.7 centners.
