The Rosselkhoznadzor administration in Krasnoyarsk region has begun accepting applications from agricultural enterprises seeking to export grain to China. As told REGNUM news Agency assistant to the Minister of agriculture of Krasnoyarsk region Evgenie Edin, such a possibility appeared in Krasnoyarsk farmers for the first time. "This issue is very long to decide on the level of the Russian Federation, because China in this regard is a very difficult partner," he said.

The supply of grain to China were made possible by the protocols signed on 17 December 2015. According to the agreement, supply to China is subject to the grain of spring wheat grown in the territory of the Altay, Krasnoyarsk edges, Novosibirsk and Omsk areas, and designed for recycling.

According to the head of the office of Rosselkhoznadzor Alexander Agapov, "the Chinese side pays special attention to the issues of phytosanitary safety of imported products", the challenge for the region is to "ensure strict control at all stages of the grain in China and the observance of all necessary requirements, including the international plant quarantine".


On March 10, in the regional office of Rosselkhoznadzor held a meeting "About the terms of delivery of grain from the Krasnoyarsk territory in people's Republic of China". The event was organized jointly with the Ministry of agriculture of the Krasnoyarsk region, and its main task was to bring to the attention of the producers of the list of requirements for supply to China of products.

The specialist on interaction with mass media of information-analytical Department of regional office of Rosselkhoznadzor Natalia Trushina REGNUM was informed that the meeting was attended by representatives of administrations of districts of the Krasnoyarsk territory, responsible for agriculture. Their task will be to enlighten in this regard to their manufacturers.


"There were, unfortunately, not all of them, but we have received calls from farmers on this issue," she said, noting that accepting applications from agricultural enterprises of the region will last until may 1 of the current year. "Now the main task — to generate a list of potential suppliers", — said Natalia Trushina. Accordingly, after may 1 will be known the list of participants and estimated amount of supplies.


According to her, restrictions on exports of grain is not the main line proposed phytosanitary requirements to the products supplied do not contain elements that are recognized in China of the quarantine.
