Shop for the production of milk has opened in Kirov, informed the government of the Kirov region.

The new production was launched at the Kirov dairy plant. It is expected that the workshop will produce up to 14 tons of dry skim milk per day and up to 4,200 tonnes of milk per year.

It will also allow enterprises to increase the milk processing 60 tons per day.

It is noted that in Russia now produces about 127 thousand tons of milk powder per year, however, the deficit exists: the needs of Russians twice. Kirovs production will make up for 2% of the existing deficit.

Recall the construction of the plant began back in 2014. The cost of the project amounted to 457 million rubles.
