21 June, State Secretary – Deputy Minister of agriculture of Russia Victoria Abramchenko took part in the plenary session of the State Duma, which in the second and third reading was prepared by the Ministry of agriculture a draft Federal law On amendments to the Land code of the Russian Federation and the Federal law "On turnover of agricultural lands".

The drafted amendments clarify the conditions for granting agricultural land in state or municipal ownership.

This will allow tenants to acquire used property or to enter into a lease of the leased area for a new term without bidding, if during the term of the lease was not revealed violations of the use of this site.
