Growth in the production of dairy products amounted to 101.2% in January-may of 2015, the official website of the regional Ministry of agriculture. All, according to him, in region for 5 months of its manufactured 354.6 thousand tons this year, the highest growth recorded in the production of oil and oil pastes – 107.1% or 4.2 thousand tons; cheese and cheese products – 102% (+10.3 thousand tons); ice cream and frozen desserts – by 143% (+12.2 thousand tons); canned condensed milk – at 131.8% (+41.4 million cans).

The production is increased due to the increase in consumer demand for dairy products of local producers, the report says.
