Earlier Friday, the head of the Department for regulation of agricultural markets Ministry of agriculture Vladimir Volik said that before the end of the calendar year it is planned to buy up to 1 million tons of grain in the framework of the interventions. The volume of grain purchases to the intervention Fund in the Crimea in the current season can be up to 100 thousand tons.

"By the end of 2016 it is planned to buy 600 thousand tons of grain. In General, the agricultural year the volume of purchases of grain can be up to 2 million tons", — stated in the message.

The state purchasing interventions of grain harvest in 2016 started this Friday. The first auction took place in the Crimea. In September, the intervention was planned to begin in the regions of the Volga region, the Urals and Siberia.

Intervention of last season started exactly a year ago, also from the Crimea. Recent purchases of grain harvest in 2015 were held on 6 April this year. In the past agricultural year on the Crimean stock exchange was purchased 66,779 thousands of tons of grain to 644,429 million rubles, the National commodities exchange - 1,701 million tons in 17,691 billion.

Intervention Fund of grain as of August 12 amounted to 3,257 million tons worth 28,837 billion.
