In turn, the Minister of agriculture Leonid Gromov said that with the increase in acreage in the region was in desperate need of modern drying equipment. However, he added, we need not only the dryer, but harvesting equipment, including forage equipment, mowers, rakes and more.

Dmitry korchik and Leonid Gromov has visited several industrial sites in the region, including specialized agrotsentr "Detchino", bringing together five major European companies operating in the agribusiness sector.
In 2014, Kaluga region signed with the government of the Republic of Belarus the agreement on trade-economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation. In the framework of this cooperation in the region are joint Russian-Belarusian enterprises, in particular, in the sphere of housing construction.
Belarusian builders have erected in Kaluga residential quarter Malinovka with five apartment buildings, the construction of the neighborhood, "Freckle", where will be built 34 multi-story apartment buildings and residential quarter "Annenki", consisting of four nineteen-storey houses on 504 apartments.
