The anti-Russian sanctions are the main obstacle to the development of the Czech economy, primarily industry, said the President. Miloš Zeman called for early normalization of relations between the EU and Russia.

"The main obstacle for the Czech economy) are the sanctions against Russia. They damage our industry," he said.

The same negative impact, he said, have Russian retaliatory sanctions on the Czech agriculture.

"I have always been against any sanctions", — said Milos Zeman, Prisma for the early lifting of mutual restrictions in the economy and trade between the EU and Russia.

"To create an enemy every idiot and find yourself a friend - a heavy diplomatic task", — said the President of the Czech Republic.
