The organizer of the event was the Ministry itself. It is expected that the key event of the festival will be the open championship for recreational fisheries of Dagestan. The event was organized by the Ministry with the support of the national fishing League and the Association Rybolov Russia. Participation in the event can take both experienced and novice anglers from the Republic and other regions. The event will be held to improve the culture of recreational fishing and its popularization in the country. It is expected that the event will be in the area of lake AK-Gel, and at Mud lake.

The festival programme will also include the exhibition of fish products, where people can buy it at the prices in 2-3 times below the market. Among other things, will be presented to sturgeon and salmon and products of their processing from advanced and developed enterprises of the Republic.

The following paragraph will be themed contests - contests and games among the children on the fish theme, the best tasting soup, and various cultural-entertaining and other events. They are also designed to promote fishing culture and industry representatives and other stakeholders - to test and strengthen their theoretical and practical skills.

The head of the Ministry of Nabiyula Karachaev promised that Dagestan will continue to support similar activities. Karachaev noted that the Republic has a high potential in the field of fisheries and aquaculture, and it is home to a large number of fishermen. In this regard, the Minister said it was important to make the festival an annual tradition.

To date, under the orders of the head of the Republic Ramazan Abdulatipov, the Ministry has launched a package of measures to development of the fisheries complex of the Republic. The government of the Republic approved the corresponding state program, which implements a number of complex events.
