The decree of the RF government approved the draft agreement between the Russian government and the government of the Republic of South Africa in the field of fisheries and aquaculture, reported the Agency.

The signing of the document will take place at the meeting of the parties, the terms of which are discussed. Currently, Russia and South Africa do not cooperate in the field of fisheries.

The agreement is aimed at establishing and strengthening cooperation between Russia and South Africa in the field of management and rational use of aquatic biological resources, of training personnel for the fishing industry, the scientific and technical research in the field of fisheries and aquaculture, reports IA REGNUM.

To ensure compliance with the provisions of the agreement will be created Russian-South African Committee for marine fisheries and aquaculture. Session of the Committee scheduled to be held annually.
