The Russian government has allocated subsidies in the amount of 1.5 billion rubles for transportation and the modernization of agricultural machinery. The corresponding decree was published on the website of the Cabinet.

"The Ministry sent the budget allocation in the amount of 1.5 billion rubles for submission to the 2016 Federal budget subsidies to Russian producers of agricultural machinery to compensate part of the costs to improve the technical specifications (homologation) and certification of conformity of products to international standards", — stated in the message.

It is noted that part of the subsidies aimed at financing the transportation of agricultural equipment by road, rail or sea transport.

"The purpose of subsidizing the transportation of products - cost reduction of organizations in road transport, reducing freight traffic on roads of Federal and regional significance, encourage the use of combined cargo transportation of production of agricultural machinery", — reported the government.
