In the week from 20 to 26 September, consumer prices in the country rose 0.1%. This trend continues for the second consecutive week, according to Rosstat.

Before three weeks, inflation was at zero and four weeks ago, rising prices also grew 0.1%. From 2 to 8 August and from 26 July to 1 August prices fell 0.1%.

According to 26 September, with the beginning of the month prices rose by 0.2%. Starting in 2016, new costs to 26 September rose by 4.1%.

In 2015, inflation on 28 September with the beginning of the month was equal to 0,6%, for the week from 22 to 28 September to 0.1 percent. In annual terms by 26 September 2015, the inflation was 6.5%. The average inflation rate over the 26 days of September 2016 was 0.008% vs 0,019% in September 2015.

Over the past week, prices on chickens, pork, milk, margarine, butter increased by 0.3-0.6 percent. The Ministry of economic development forecasts inflation in September at 0.2-0.3% and in 2016 to 5.7-5.8 percent.

The Central Bank predicts price growth for the year in the range of 5.5-6%. According to the consensus forecast of"Interfax", prepared in early September, the inflation rate in 2016 will reach 6.2%.
