For comparison, in August 2015, the decline in turnover on an annual basis was 6.5% and in January-August last year, the turnover decreased by 5,4% to the corresponding period in 2014.

Rosstat takes into account the turnover of restaurants, cafes, bars, canteens in enterprises and institutions and organizations - suppliers of catering products.

The domestic restaurant market began to fall in October 2014 when the decline was 1%. At the end of last year, the turnover of catering companies fell by 5.5% to 1,301 trillion rubles.
