"The biggest problem in agriculture is that you cannot improve the quality of the products. In this regard, at the initiative of Prime Minister Sooronbay Zheenbekov in all regions to work towards the creation of large cooperatives, introduction of new modern methods of work in agriculture. I believe it is time to move from quantity to quality", — he said during the presentation of automated information system of registration of veterinary and phytosanitary documentation of the Republic.

Vice Prime Minister noted the need for the establishment in each district of Kyrgyzstan specialized shop for slaughter to meat from animals butchered at home, did not get on the market, passing the veterinary examination. According to him, authorities must work in close relationship with the farmers involved in animal husbandry, to improve the quality of livestock and breeding of pedigree animals.

To date, six million in Kyrgyzstan, 65% of the population lives in rural areas. Of these, about 80% are involved in livestock and crop production.
