The Minister of agriculture of Russia Alexander Tkachev believes that if Russia has imposed a food embargo and retaliatory economic restrictive measures against the Western countries, they should be making.

"If it were not for the sanctions, it would be necessary to invent them", — said Alexander Tkachev. In his opinion, "the misfortune has helped".

The Minister believes that the introduction of a food embargo on a range of imported products helped the Russians to evaluate domestic products.

"The Russian people, 150 million, he wanted to eat our products, Russian, domestic,"he said, noting that the policy of restricting food imports from other countries must continue.
