The volume of investments will amount to almost 3.9 billion rubles, reported the press service of the President.

"Work on the construction of farm has already begun in the current year. It consists of two main areas - the loudspeaker with an annual capacity of 199 thousand animals for fattening of young animals - more than 52 thousand seats. The first site is scheduled for commissioning in the first half of next year", — stated in the message.

The head of the region Vladimir Volkov, quoted by the press service noted that the construction of such a large scale site for the production of meat on an industrial basis, with a full production cycle, with the introduction of new technologies - one of the links of the solution to provide requirements for high quality, environmentally friendly pork meat as the inhabitants of Mordovia and other regions of Russia. In addition, the implementation of the project will create 166 new jobs.

In the first half of 2016 Mordovia occupies the fourth place among regions of the country and the second place in Volga Federal district for the production of meat per capita. In his message to the state Assembly of Republic of Moldova in 2016, the head of Mordovia tasked producers of meat to leave on this indicator on the first place in the district.
