The aim of the festival is to attract attention to the producers of agricultural products, development of creative individuality, enhancing the artistic skills of the younger generation.

Hundreds of pumpkins in whimsical crafts, sculptures from pupils of kindergartens, pupils of schools in the district, College students were presented at the stretching along the entire area of exhibitions. Surprisingly, out of the main character of the festival – pumpkins – you can do almost anything: food, houses, carriages, cars, cats, bears.

The organizers tried to find and include in the program of the festival competitions, games and entertainment for children and adults, associated with the orange vegetable. Was made before the assembled singers, young actors with a thematic statement. In addition, for the residents were organized agricultural fair, where everyone could buy vegetables grown by the farmers of the district.

Pumpkins of different varieties, colors, sizes were presented at the exhibition organized ARO RSSM supported by the Agency Luxart. Porridge with pumpkin and honey in a pot, caramel apples, quinces stewed in baked pumpkins, candy, bagels, cakes – and this is not the entire range. The perfect backdrop was the pumpkin fountain.

The first Deputy head of administration MO "Kamyzyaksky district" on social policy Yuri Shmelev thanked everyone for their participation, presented letters of appreciation from the head of the district V. P. Sukhorukov. It was decided to hold in the city of Kamyzyak festival of pumpkins annually.
