The Governor of the region Vladimir Miklushevsky stressed that the region currently modernizarea the agricultural sector, using modern technology, which allow to increase the volume and quality of agricultural products.

"We went to one of the largest companies Rusagro, which intends to build a group of pig-breeding complexes. In the region of Primorsko successfully working company "Gringo" and "mercy trade" which provide local market of dairy and meat products. By 2020 Primorye will become a region that will export pork to China", — said the head of the region.

Vladimir Miklushevsky added that in the Primorsky region grows strategically important crops – soybeans, which along with maize is forage for animals. This allows you to create in the region of the enterprise of a full cycle.

The Governor also stressed the development of the Far East – part of the national policy defined by President Vladimir Putin. Already made the decisive steps in this direction, which largely determine the pace of development of the region.

Note, for the past five years, gross production output of agriculture in Primorye has increased 14% and accounts for almost 4% of the gross regional product. Production of maize increased by 60%, the production of soybeans – almost twice. Milk production increased by 16%. Also at the end of 2015 by 15% increased the egg production, almost 14% – of pork. The number of pigs in the region over the last three years has increased in 1,5 times.

To achieve such results, according to the Governor of Primorye Vladimir Miklushevsky, managed through the effective system of support measures, both Federal and regional, as well as large investors, including foreign ones.
