On 19-20 October, the official delegation of the Omsk region under the chairmanship of the Governor of the region Viktor Nazarov visited with a return visit in the Islamic Republic of Iran with the aim of developing interregional cooperation and establishing new business contacts.

"The question of the supply of agricultural equipment to the Islamic Republic of Iran interesting for Omsk producers, — said Maxim Chemezov. — Of course, require adaptation of our equipment under the soil and climatic conditions of Iran. In addition, at the meetings in Iran, raised the question of the production of fertilizers: in the Republic developed the production of organic fertilizers.

The Iranians are interested in entering the Russian market with fruits and vegetables, and our producers are ready to deliver to the Islamic Republic of Iran grain.

"Omsk grain goes in many regions of Russia and even abroad and everywhere used as improver, — said Maxim Chemezov. — With its high gluten, our grain significantly improves the baking quality of the final product. The interest of the Iranians to Omsk grain is, they could buy up to 300-400 thousand tons, but the question is still under consideration".

At the end of the trip will be worked on the logistics and organization of settlements.
