This was announced by Deputy Minister of agriculture and food of Tatarstan Ildus Gabdrakhmanov.

"Left a small area of about 400 hectares for this morning. In the whole Republic for the first time in its history, will gather about 2.3 million tonnes of roots. We had 2,05-2,1 million rubles", — said Gabdrakhmanov.

For the first time, according to the Deputy Minister, managed to attain the highest yield, despite the unfavorable weather conditions. This became possible thanks to application of modern technologies. The average yield of sugar beet this year exceeded 360 kg/ha.

By the end of 2015 in Tatarstan has collected just over 2 million tons of sugar beet with an average yield of 345 kg/ha.

"Today and for the processing has reached the maximum performance daily to 16 thousand tons per day (last year it was 14.5 high). In the end, expect to receive somewhere in the 280-285 thousand tons of sugar", — said I. Gabdrakhmanov. Total production of sugar by the end of 2015 will exceed 220 thousand tons.

The Deputy Minister reminded that the Republic needs in sugar is just over 100 thousand tons. The rest, he said, – marketable goods, which will be implemented beyond the region.
