The Republic of Ingushetia and Saudi Arabia are planning to establish cooperation in agriculture. This was announced by the head of Ingushetia, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov after the meeting in Riyadh a meeting with the Minister of the environment, water resources and agriculture in Saudi Arabia.

"During a working meeting with the Minister of the environment, water resources and agriculture of Saudi Arabia Abdelrahman Ben Abdulmohsin al-Fadhli was agreed to establish a bilateral working group which will be engaged in the feasibility study on cooperation in agriculture between the Republic of Ingushetia and Saudi Arabia," — said Yevkurov.

He stressed that "to study the economic profitability of the project, including to perform transportation and logistics capabilities of the Republic."

According to him, from the Ingush side, the working group will be chaired by Senator Belan hamchiev, from Saudi Arabia it will include representatives of the Ministry of the environment, water resources and agriculture.

The delegation of Ingushetia, headed by Yunus-Bek Yevkurov arrived in Saudi Arabia on Monday. Before the trip, Yevkurov said that in the course of the visit will be discussed issues of cooperation in economy, investments, deliveries of agricultural products from Ingushetia to Saudi Arabia. In the framework of the visit will be a presentation of the three largest investment projects for a total amount of 13 billion rubles being implemented in the Republic. We are talking about the Agrocomplex "Garden-giant Ingushetia", about the construction of poultry complex "South" and the livestock sector by 1 thousand heads of cattle, being built by a private investor.

In a press-service of the head of Ingushetia reported that in the framework of the visit's schedule includes meetings with Deputy crown Prince, second Deputy Prime Minister, defence Minister Mohammad bin Salman al Saud, and with the newly appointed President of the Islamic development Bank Bandar bin Muhammad Hajjar.
