The parties discussed a complex of measures aimed at increasing the supply of fruits and vegetables from Uzbekistan to Russia.

Since the beginning of year the volume of imports of Uzbek agricultural products that are in demand on the Russian market increased compared to the same period last year more than 2 times (41 million US dollars to 89 million U.S. dollars).

Basically such performance was achieved due to growth of deliveries of fruits and vegetables.

Following the meeting, the sides noted the readiness to comprehensive cooperation in the agricultural sector and confirmed their interest in long-term cooperation on increasing the volume of bilateral trade.
