The event was organized jointly with the Committee on development of small, medium business and consumer market of Leningrad region.

The meeting was attended by representatives of cooperatives, heads of bodies of management of agroindustrial complex of municipal districts and organizations that provide support to small businesses.

The round table discussed issues of state support of agricultural cooperatives, the main factors influencing the development of agricultural cooperation, the possibility of obtaining concessional financing to small and medium businesses.

First Deputy industry Committee Catherine pshennikova expressed confidence that the ideas on development of cooperation expressed at the meeting, will be continued at the all-Russian Congress of agricultural cooperatives, in which active participation is planning to take a delegation of the Leningrad region.

Catherine pshennikova emphasized that in the regional budget includes funds to support the creation and development of cooperatives and expressed hope that the representatives of the farmers, the rural consumer cooperatives will take the opportunity of obtaining grants.
