As reported by industry experts, this year in Tunisia, there has been a sharp increase in the production of citrus. So, local producers managed to collect 560 thousand tons of production that is twice that of the previous year.

Experts stress that a considerable part of the crop will be shipped for export. At the same time, Tunisian traders plan to significantly increase exports to Russia and Algeria, making them one of the main external markets for citrus.

Recall that in the previous year, the largest buyers of citrus from Tunisia by France and Libya, which accounted for about 85% of the shipped volume.
