Since the beginning of year consumer prices in Russia rose by 4.8%, according to Rosstat. In the period from 18 to 24 October, inflation in Russia accelerated to 0.2%, and before that five weeks in a row also kept at 0.1%.

For the last week of butter rose by 1%, eggs – by 0.8%; chickens, pasteurized milk, sour cream, fat cottage cheese, cheese – on 0,3-0,5%. Simultaneously sugar became cheaper by 0.8%, buckwheat groats – by 0.5%, pork – by 0.3%, sunflower oil – by 0.2%. The growth of prices for fruit and vegetables on average amounted to 1.2%, including cucumbers and tomatoes – 7.8% and 5.4% respectively. At the same time, the price of apples decreased by 0.5%.
