The President of Russia in the message to the Federal Assembly said that inflation by the end of 2016 will be lower than 6%.

"If you remember, inflation in 2015 was 12.9%, I hope this will not rise above 6%, will be 5.8 percent", — said Vladimir Putin. He noted that this means that next year we can reach 4%. This is an important prerequisite for growth, said the President.

"Let me remind you that the lowest inflation rate recorded in 2011 at 6.1%. I repeat: this year may be less even, this means that in the following we can achieve the target of 4%", — said the President.

He noted that the stabilization does not mean recovery and it is necessary to solve the basic problems of the economy.
