In total, the disease affected a little more than 19 500 animal caught in a category susceptible to disease. Typically, the disease affects cattle. Recently identified outbreaks were registered in herds of different size – with a population of 26 to 661 goals.

In addition, in the last month the outbreak occurred in a herd of sheep.

All cases were identified through active surveillance in the pre-test spread of the disease. The recent outbreak of the disease was detected mainly in the Central parts of the country. But as a result of outbreaks during the month of November, the length of the zone restriction changed and now reached the North coast of France.
