The system Platon is valid from 15 November 2015. Initially it was assumed that the rate of 1.53 Euro per 1 km of track, installed at the time of system implementation, will be increased from 1 March 2016 to 3.06 RUB, but later it was decided to delay indexing until the autumn.

In early November, the Ministry has published a draft regulation, which suggests that from February 1, 2017 the rate will be increased from 1.53 RUB for 1 km to 2.61 RUB and from 1 June 2017 to 3.06 RUB.

The Ministry of transport of the Russian Federation does not exclude the possibility of differentiation of the tariff system of charging heavy goods vehicles "Plato". Dietrich said earlier that the plan may be incentive for certain groups, including for small businesses.
