Consumer testing of exposed samples of about 35 multinational brands and Russian brands, said Roskoshestvo.

Procurement of milk chocolate will take place in the network and specialized stores throughout Russia. The study will include samples produced in Germany, Belgium, France, Belarus, Switzerland and Russia, particularly Kaliningrad, Leningrad, Moscow, Tula, Yaroslavl, Ryazan region and other regions.

During the month, chocolate will check for the presence of cocoa butter equivalents, mass fraction of milk fat and sugar content. An important vector of research will be the identification of counterfeit products.

As noted in the Department, substitute chocolate or confectionery tiles, the raw materials of natural chocolate – that is cocoa butter, is often substituted for palm kernel, coconut oil or soy.
