The volume of pork exports from the UK continued to decline in November last year, after reduction for domestic production for most of 2016, according to industry organization AHDB.

So, the total volume of pork exports from the UK in November 2016 fell by 3% compared to the previous month to 17,000 tons.

Pork imports increased by 25% to 45,000 tons in November compared with a year earlier. According to experts, this was largely due to the growth of the Danish supply, which grew by 66% in comparison with 2015. The volume of pork imports from Germany also rose, increasing by 16%.
