"A number of foods that do not meet the requirements of technical regulations on security, as claimed on the label – do not exceed 7%", — she noted.

In addition, Anna Popova said that the Department has reduced the number of inspections of outlets that sell foodstuffs, in 2016, 10 times in comparison with 2015.

According to Popova, the CPS currently has more than 500 thousand complaints regarding the food. However, as noted by the Minister, "if you count the number of population in the Russian Federation, it turns out that the Russian complains to 10 times less than a British citizen".
