Ukraine is the largest importer of beer and meat from Russia, though has entered in response to the Russian predamage ban on the import of Russian products. According to the newspaper, the reason is the supply in the Donbass.

As "Vedomosti", citing data from the Federal customs service, for 2016 deliveries of beer from Russia to Ukraine increased by 1.5 times. Meat and offal in 2013-2014 Ukraine almost did not buy, but last year there were delivered to 47 893 MT of this product. In Ukraine, as follows from the data of the FCS, nearly 30% of the total Russian export of beer and meat, making Ukraine the largest buyer of both, and meat – for the first time.

At the end of 2015, the authorities of Ukraine in response to Russian predamage introduced a ban on imports of most products from Russia, including beer and meat. According to the state service of statistics of Ukraine, in January-November last year imports of meat into the country from Russia decreased by more than 40 times to $15 400. According to the officer, beer dynamics is similar.
