The exports from Belarus to Russia in monetary terms increased in 2016 by 4%, to 10.8 billion and Russian imports into Belarus declined by 10.8% to 15.3 billion dollars.
The growth of Belarusian exports to Russia contributed to the increase in the supply of meat and dairy products, vehicles, and agricultural machinery. The main decline in exports happened at such a position as petroleum products.
In 2016 in Russia was of 268.2 thousand tons. This is three times less compared to the volume 2015. At the same time in 2016 Belarus received from Russia 18.1 million tons of crude oil, which is 21% lower than 2015.
