In the far Eastern fishery basin produced 2.7 million tons more than last year – 859,4 thousand tons. In Pollock fishery catch decreased by 7.6 thousand tonnes to 716,3 thousand tons.

In the Northern basin howled was 114.9 thousand tons, which is less than last year by 20.5 thousand tons. The fishery of cod extracted by 16.4 thousand tons less and 71.6 thousand tons. The catch of haddock decreased by 5 thousand tonnes to 36.0 thousand tons.

Production in West basin amounted to 19.1 thousand tonnes, less than last year by 0.6 thousand tons. The fishery sprat catch increased by 3.2 thousand tons and reached 13.6 thousand tons. The catch of Baltic herring decreased by 3 thousand tons to 4.5 thousand tons.

In the Azov-black sea basin the catch amounted to 30.3 thousand tons, which is less than last year by 0.9 thousand tons. The fishery of anchovy production volume increased by 2.5 million tons to 27.2 tons. The catch of sprat decreased by 2.8 thousand tonnes to 1.9 thousand tons.

In the Volga-Caspian fishery basin the volume of production amounted to 2.4 thousand tons, which is less than last year and 1.2 thousand tons. The fishery sprat catch has decreased on 0,4 thousand tons and 0.1 thousand tons. The catch of large and small freshwater decreased by 0.7 thousand tonnes to 1.0 tonnes.

The development of quotas of catch of water biological resources by Russian fishermen in the zones of foreign countries increased by 21 thousand tonnes and amounted to 74.1 thousand tons.
The catch in Convention areas and open parts of the World ocean amounted to 66.6 thousand tons, which is 1.1 thousand tons less than last year.
