Last week, Russia reported on a hotbed of African swine fever in the D. Gremyachka, Khvorostyanskaya district, Samara region. The outbreak of ASF was registered in LPH. This is the first detection of African swine fever in the region.

In wealthy countries, noted the following diseases:

rabies in the Republic of El Salvador (1);

rotavirus infection of pigeons in Australia (6).


The outbreak of foot and mouth disease was on the West of Jordan (1) in the governorate of al Balqa (AL BALQA). African swine fever was detected in domestic pigs in the Donetsk region (1) and in wild boars in the Kharkiv region (1) Ukraine.

Veterinary services, 12 countries reported to the OIE of outbreaks of highly pathogenic avian influenza: Vietnam (2) Germany (3), Italy (1) Lithuania (1), Nigeria (4), Netherlands (3), Romania (19), Slovenia (10), USA (1), Taiwan (40) France (11), Croatia (4). Laboratornogo outbreaks of bird flu recorded in France (2). Newcastle disease again identified in Israel (23).

On the territory of France was two new focus bluetongue (serotype 4). Rabies in goats are identified in Hungary (1 hearth). Middle East respiratory syndrome coronavirus (MERS-CoV) was observed in camels in Saudi Arabia (4).
