The Agency announced the need to increase concessional lending to farmers and expansion of categories of recipients of the loan.

"The Ministry in the framework of adjustments to the Federal budget announced additional demand for concessional lending for 2017 in the amount of 19 billion rubles. In fact, we stated the need for the same volume, which is now highlighted – 21.3 billion rubles," — said Deputy Minister of agriculture Igor Kuzin at the II international investment forum "agro far East and Siberia 2017", which opened on Wednesday in Vladivostok.

"According to our calculations, require an additional 19 billion rubles, in order to stabilize the situation this year,"he said.

The Department also proposes to expand the category of recipients of preferential crediting in the agricultural industry at the expense of the enterprises with an average number of employees up to 100 people.

"Currently, the recipients of the reduced mechanism are the only a farm. It is proposed to refer to small forms, in accordance with the law on small and medium business, enterprises and commercial companies with an average number of employees up to 100 people and income level is not more than 800 million rubles", — said the Deputy Minister.

According to him, currently, of the total amount of state subsidies for small business reserved 20%, that allows to cover almost 100% of the needs of small business lending at a preferential mechanism.
