The main suppliers of Margarines and spreads on the territory of the Russian Federation until 2015 was Ukraine (36% of imports in 2013), as well as Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Italy, Malaysia and several other countries.

According to preliminary results 2016 the share of Sweden in the Russian import volume of margarine and spreads has increased to 46%, in second place came Italy with a volume of 11.7 thousand tons (17%), the third shifted Belgium (9,0 thousand tons or 13%). The share of Ukraine amounted to less than 1% (0.8 thousand tons). In January – February 2017 the territorial structure of import of margarine and spreads has not changed much.
