More than a quarter of companies (27% vs 30% last year) announced the expansion of its acreage, the vast majority (84%) expects to increase net profit by the end of this year.

Thus, importantly, to increase profits firms expect to achieve mainly through higher yields, not prices for their products - the growth of productivity expected 89% of respondents expect prices to raise only 58%, of which 64% is less than 10%.

The company's increase in yield due to application of new fertilizers and means of protection of seeds (82%), improvement techniques of enterprise management (59%) and procurement of specially prepared seeds (57%).

According to the survey, 71% of respondents always use credits like last year, with 51% taking target loans for the purchase of seeds.

Optimism also inspire companies ' plans regarding the implementation of innovations: 56% of firms plan to introduce an innovative fertilizer, 54% - new methods in protecting crops, 48% of the technologies of precision agriculture (precision farming), 44% - innovations in seed selection.

"The growing season of 2016, were for companies that specialize in the crop, the best in recent years, which was shown in the index — said General Director of the Institute for agricultural market studies (IKAR) Dmitry Rylko. — While there is evidence that the effect of the devaluation of the ruble and counter gradually eroding, and we need to look for new points to sustain growth".
