Total catch in the Baltic sea increased by 0.1 thousand tons – up to 41,3 thousand tons. The fishery sprat catch amounted to 25.2 thousand tons, more than last year by 2.6 thousand tons. Baltic herring produced 1.2 thousand tonnes less to 12.0 thousand tons. It is associated with a dislocation of the fleet, mainly on sprat fishery.

In the Azov-black sea basin caught 43,0 thousand tons of water biological resources, which is less than last year's level by 3.3 thousand tons. This is due to a decrease in the extraction (catch) of sprat and other objects of the fishery. The fishery of anchovy catch grew by 2.4 thousand tonnes and amounted to 27.4 thousand tons. The catch of sprat has decreased by 2.6 thousand tonnes to 4.0 tonnes.

In the Caspian basin, the catch of aquatic biological resources amounted to 27.8 thousand tons, which is 2,3 thousand tons more than last year. The fishery of sardines produced 0.6 thousand tons, less than last year by 0.5 thousand tons. Catches large and small fresh-water is 12.6 thousand tons that corresponds to level of last year.

In zones of foreign States, Russian fishermen mastered 184,1 thousand tons more than last year by 19.9 thousand tons, mainly from fishing in the area of Morocco.

The development of quotas of catch of water biological resources in the Convention areas and the open part of the oceans has decreased by 5.9 thousand tonnes and constituted 80.9 thousand tons. This is due to a decrease in fish stocks in the NEAFC regulatory area.
