A week after the introduction of new restrictions on the import of Russian goods from Turkey, the country returned to duty-free import of wheat and sunflower oil from Russia. This is with reference to the traders reported fat-and-oil Union of Russia and analytical center "Sovekon".

Executive Director of the centre "Sovekon" Andrey Sizov, answering the question of whether Turkey lifted restrictions on the issuance of licenses for duty-free import of Russian wheat, said: "the Traders say that, Yes".

According to him, the restrictions were temporary and had no impact on exports, but the fact of the introduction of such measures is an unfavorable factor for the Russian wheat. Andrei Sizov said that traders fear the introduction of new rules of import of Russian goods to Turkey.

In an oil and fat Union of Russia also announced the lifting of restrictions, writes the RNS.

"Today we have also received confirmation that no restrictions on duty-free importation of (sunflower oil – ed.) no", — said the Executive Director of the oil and fat Union of Russia Mikhail Maltsev.

He added that the restrictions were local, and the fundamental reason for concern about the introduction of Turkey's new restrictions.

Recall, last week, the traders announced the introduction of Turkey's restrictions on the importation of wheat and sunflower oil from Russia. Under the new rules for the products of the established quota for issuing of licenses: wheat – 20-25%, sunflower oil – 15-30%.
