The main trends of the world and Russian market of grain outlined in his speech, the head of the southern branch of the fgbi "Spetzstroy in agriculture" Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation Oksana Baigulova.

According to experts, the main problem in the world grain market are quite impressive carry-over stocks of grain crops and large production volumes. This is due, firstly, with good weather conditions prevailing in most of the countries producing grain; secondly, with the weakening of the national currency. This led to the fact that many States have optimized their exports and increased acreage of wheat, which is the most popular grain crop.

Despite forecasts for reduced production of grain, it is still large carryover stocks put pressure on price, and manufacturers continue to sow wheat expecting that the price will still be high.

O. Baigulova also touched on Russian export market of grains:

"As in the past year, wheat has the largest volume of sales that is due to its quality and the fact that the main buyers of Russian grain are changed insignificantly.

So we're trying to preserve the markets for our grain, especially since the buyers are interested in our grain"

The main consumers of Russian grain are Turkey, procuring mainly wheat, 3 class, Egypt, importing products class 4, and Bangladesh, which has recently increased its purchases of feed wheat of Russian origin.

Recently, the Russian grain competes with the us. Confirmation of this can serve as a recent tender in Egypt, where the grain of American origin were the most popular. However, in America, is quite high logistics costs, and Russia in this situation can compete because, to the delight of the customers, we have opportunities to optimize these costs.

At the end of his speech, the expert stressed that the export of grain from Russia since the beginning of 2017 shows stability in the near future any major fluctuations associated with changes in shipments of grain of Russian origin on the world market is not expected.
