The project "Bioterra" involves the creation of a modern irrigation system on the territory of the left Bank districts of the Saratov region in the framework of the Federal target program "Development of reclamation of agricultural lands of Russia for 2014-2020" as well as two more directions associated with the growing of irrigation technology and processing agricultural products.

We are now actively working in the framework of the first phase of the project of 200 thousand hectares In 2017 entered about 5 thousand ha of new irrigation, which in the autumn will be harvested soybeans. Until the end of the year will continue the construction of irrigation systems for crop next season.

As a result of implementation of the project will increase the effectiveness of the systems of irrigation will increase the yield of crops that will allow to 2024 to produce more than 400 thousand tons of soy beans and the same of corn a year. In addition, the project solves the problem of import substitution. The project implementation will allow to replace up to 25% of the import of soy beans.
