Prices for eggs increased by 2.2 times year on year, chicken meat – 70%. Poultry is the only industry in which increased prices.

Prices of South Korean manufacturers are shrinking for three consecutive months. According to the Bank of Korea, published on 19 June, the producer price index, which reflects the prospects for consumer inflation and was in may 102,26 points. This is 0.2% less than in April.

Thus, the rate continues decline since Feb. The Bank of Korea said that this is due to the fall in world oil prices. Producer prices of industrial products fell by 0.5%, coal and oil products – by 3.6%.
