The growth rate of prices of land in the United States significantly ahead of inflation, according to the survey Sushinomics calculated by Bloomberg based on average prices for California rolls and spicy rolls with tuna in the 25 largest American cities.

Over the past year the average price of rolls increased by 2.3% to a $6.99, with the most significant price rise recorded in Miami and San Jose. For comparison, the consumer prices in USA in may 2017 rose 1.9% in annual terms.

In Miami the average price for rolls jumped by 10% to $8,15, San Jose - by 8.7%, to $6,52. The most expensive rolls are sold in new York - $8,72, their cost practically has not changed in a year.

Significant differences in the dynamics of prices for land in different U.S. cities show that inflation in the country is patchy, experts say.
