Analysis of production statistics shows that by the end of 2016, in Russia it was made 549,1 million cans of fruit and berry jam and similar products (statistics also includes fruit and berry jellies, compotes, purees and pastes).

Production volume was by 21.6% higher compared to year 2015 (this is the highest growth figure for the last 6 years) and 86,5% in comparison with 2010. The minimum figure for the study period – 294,3 million cans in 2010.

According to forecasts of specialists of the company AnalyticResearchGroup, the study of the Russian market of jams and marmalades, the level of production of the considered product by the end of 2017 will be reduced by 26 thousand cans, but with a 2018 production growth will resume. However, growth rates are not too high: projected annual growth to 2018 and 6.6%, 2019 6.2 per cent.
