In 2016 Turkey bought in the Russian Federation of agricultural products of $1 billion 662 million (8% less than in 2015), China - $1 billion 624 million (17% more).

According to the head of the Ministry of agriculture, the third place went to Kazakhstan with the volume of purchases of $1 billion 319 million, which is 1% higher than the 2015. Followed by the Republic of Korea - $1 billion 243 million (6% more) and Egypt - $1 billion 242 million (21% more).

The Minister said that expanding the range of export products.

"We used to put mostly grain, and our largest importers were Turkey and Egypt. Now we are increasing the supply of confectionery, meat, vegetable oil, sugar", - said Alexander Tkachev.
