In her view, "the cultivation of new introduced crop species will reduce their import and shipping costs", and in Siberia you can grow oilseed crops (e.g., seed sunflower, rapeseed, soybean and corn) and to develop the biofuels industry. Colleague Chebakova, candidate of biological Sciences Elena Parfenova believes that "the attractiveness of the Siberian territory is likely to increase".
