In 2016, the export of Ukrainian pork fat decreased by 98% compared to the year 2015, reports Business Views with reference to the State fiscal service.

According to the portal, in 2015, Ukraine exported fat in the amount of $7.74 million, and in the past – $0,088 million the Main reason for the collapse is that Russia refused to buy this product. The import of bacon was stopped and Moldova.

Currently, Ukrainian manufacturers looking for new markets, according to the portal. In this year bacon was exported to Azerbaijan, Armenia and Kazakhstan – the total amount of procurement in these countries is estimated at $53.8 thousand

Estonia, Singapore, Bahamas, Canada, Panama, Germany, Cambodia and Australia bought 7.5 tons of fat of $27.8 thousand
