At the end of July the number of cattle in farms of Krasnodar region, according to experts, amounted to 538 thousand (-1,4% to the corresponding date 2016goda), according to the materials krasnodarstata.

In the region was the number of cows – 213 thousand (-1,7%), pigs – 394 thousand (by 14,9%), sheep and goats 235 thousand heads (+3.8 per cent). Meat production in the reporting period amounted to 264 thousand tons, which corresponds to the figure for the same period in 2016, milk – 813 thousand tons (+1.3 per cent), eggs and 1.05 million units (+6%).

The share of farms, personal households and individual entrepreneurs accounted for 26% of meat production, 36% milk and 40% of eggs. For seven months of this year, farmers from one cow should be 4.1 thousand kg of milk (+4%), on average, one hen got 172 eggs (-3,9%).
