This is almost 65% more than in July 2017 48% more than in August 2016 and the largest volume of export shipments of grain in post-Soviet history of the NCSP.

Including wheat were shipped 1.46 million tons, barley 155,168 thousand tons.

The August volume of the Novorossiysk export of wheat by 2 times the shipments of July and almost 1.5 times more shipments Aug 2016 and the large shipments of wheat in post-Soviet history of the NCSP. In the first place Egypt, with a share of almost 42%. Then by a wide margin followed by Nigeria (6.5%) and Tanzania (6.3 percent). Only through NCSP wheat was exported in 21 countries of the European Union, the Middle East, North, West and East Africa, South Asia, North and South America (12 countries in July).

Shipments of barley in comparison with July decreased by 21%. The largest recipient of August was Saudi Arabia (almost to 82.4%). The remaining volume was delivered in Qatar and Libya.

In the ranking of 18 shippers of grain in the first place is the company of Louis Dreyfus (14,8%), the second-the third places are shared Aston and Cargill-Yug (11.4%).
